Exhibition Prep




Take this survey
You should have 3 notecards that answer the following 3 questions for Brave New World Exhibition. You should be proactive in addressing these points when you present your project to parents and faculty on Wednesday night.  

  1. What is one of Brave New World’s messages?


  1. We focused on developing Clarity in this project.  Which one of the five choices (moment, frame, image, word, or flow) do you think your team used most effectively in this project and why ?




  1. Which of the following did you improve in the most, and why?

a. Team-work
b. Perspective
c. Evidence 


Project Reflection Information



Once you have completed the project, please do the following for project wrap-up:



1.  BOTH Students from each team email matt.dooley@animashighschool.com with an email titled:  "BNW:  Artist first name, Author first name"

Example:  "BNW Matt and William" could be the title of the email.

Your email should have the links to the following on google-docs.
  1. Artist statement
  2. Theme Explanation
  3. Any Challenge Extensions that you did.


2.  Complete Project Reflection

  1. Create word document titled “Project Reflection”, with your name and date in the top right-hand corner.  Answer the following questions.  No spelling or grammatical errors.  (Have Matt approve before you post it
  2. Describe briefly what the project was about (use the Project Description handout:  click Click this link.
  3. Describe which Learning Objective you improved the most in (either Perspective, Evidence, or Teamwork)
  4. Describe which Content skills you improved the most in, depending on your job (see below):
              Artists:  Facial expressions, resemblance, body language, stylistic                          devices 
              Authors:  Analyzing a theme, Explaining artistic choices, citing effectively,               or revising for clarity

Describe what you would like to improve on for our next project.  For example:

          1. Improving writing skills
          2.  Communicating more in a group project
          3.  Reading and annotating more effectively or consistentl
          4.  Giving more helpful peer critiques,
          5.  Participating more in socratic seminars
          6.  Improving personal organization
          7.  Using evidence more effectively in discussions and writing

Or something entirely different!

3.    On your DP, create a tab titled “Graphic Novel Project”
  1. Upload your project reflection so readers will see it immediately when they click on the tab.
  2. Take a picture of each page of your graphic novel.  Upload the pictures so that they are easily visible.
