Addressed the driving question of the week, "How do we learn to be part of society, and why does it matter?"
We walked through a slideshow that reviewed chapter 1 of the textbook and introduced us to Plato's allegory of the cave, and how it applies to sociology...click here to review it.
We made in-class presentations examining how institutions in Durango have both manifest and latent functions (see the slideshow for more details on what these terms mean...)
